Ruby loved being her and was care-free and happy…until she discovered a worry. It was only a small worry but each day it grew and grew until it became so big it was all she could think about. It followed her around her home, it was there at school, it went to the park, it even joined her at the cinema. Ruby started to think that the worry would never leave and that she would never feel happy again. If only there was a way to make the worry go away…

Ruby’s Worry is a beautiful story that gently deals with worries - big and small. It provides a great platform for encouraging the sharing of worries and developing understanding that worrying is normal. As Ruby learns, the best way to deal with a worry is to share a worry. Once she does this her life explodes back into glorious colour and everything feels good in her world again.

Through simple yet powerful illustrations, Tom Percival ensures that his message of how to deal with worries gets across to the youngest of readers.
