Molly is a very little moth with very big dreams. She longs for adventures beyond the back of the wardrobe and has her sights set on the biggest of adventures…she wants to fly to the MOON. Her mother thinks that this is terrible idea and is in no way achievable, after all, Molly has very tiny wings and the moon is a very, very long way away. During the day Molly busies herself helping her mother look after the younger siblings and at night she is hard at work training for her galactic mission.

When the time comes, Molly heads off towards the moon but everyone she meets along the way tells her that it is impossible and leaves her feeling disheartened. Then she meets a crab who offers some worlds of encouragement and she is inspired to carry on. Can Molly make it to the moon?

This is such an enjoyable story that teaches young readers the importance of resilience and perseverance. It is about not giving up on your dreams no matter how small you are or how big your dreams are. This is one small step for man, one giant flight for moth-kind. The delightful read is gorgeously illustrated and the pictures will be adored by readers both young and old.
