When the bus driver has to leave the bus unattended, he asks you, the reader, to do him one very important job…don’t let the pigeon drive the bus. This may be the most important job you have ever been given. Are you up to the challenge or will you give into the ever demanding pigeon?

You’ll need to be at your stubborn best as this charming and sneaky pigeon is full of all sorts of tricks to get you to let him drive the bus..it’s his dream, he will be your best friend, he’ll even pay you.

The story is told using just speech bubbles as the pigeon talks directly to the reader. It is clever, witty and raises issues around responsibility and persuasion. The illustrations are delightful and capture the mischievous and cheeky personality of the pigeon.

A book that is perfectly pitched for young children and they will no doubt be able to relate to the pigeon and his actions. Will you let the pigeon drive the bus?
