On the Moon is part of the ‘Usborne First Reading’ series. Let your child’s imagination soar and let them see that the sky is most certainly not they limit as the venture into outer space and take a trip to the moon.

This simple story is full of plenty of useful information. Readers will learn how long it takes to get to the moon, what you have to wear when you’re on the moon, what is it is like to be on the moon and what souvenirs you might bring back from your trip to the moon.

On the Moon is a lovely little picture book that gives young readers an insight into what it would be like to fly to the moon. I’m sure it will raise many questions, wonderings and spark a curiosity to find out more about the moon and space.

The text is simple and clear and is easily accessible for new readers. The images are excellent - illustrations by Benji Davies are seamlessly combined with photos provided by NASA and Digital Vision.
