It’s not easy being a toddler, especially when you can’t communicate properly with the grown-ups. You’re trying your hardest to talk but they just don’t seem to understand and in ‘Knuffle Bunny’ Trixie really needs her dad to understand her right now.

Daddy, Trixie and Knuffle Bunny head out to the laundromat to do a family chore. They enjoy a lovely walk through their neighbourhood and Trixie is a superstar of a helper at the laundromat. But while they are there something terrible happens and when they leave Trixie tries to tell her daddy what is so terrible but all he hears is a jumble of letters and sounds. By the time they get home Trixie is distraught and when mommy realises what terrible thing has happened it’s time to dash back to the laundromat and hopefully find Knuffle Bunny…

A cute story about an everyday scenario that goes so terribly wrong and results in one very upset child (luckily everything works out alright in the end and the precious Knuffle Bunny is safely reunited with its owner).

The story is told in short and simple sentences and is brought alive through cartoon style illustrations that are mixed with photography of the locations in Brooklyn.
