Max’s right foot is tired of being trodden on so Max agrees to let it be a hand instead. But other body parts have requests too and Max soon finds himself with a mixed up body including a ‘foothand’, a ‘tonguefoot’ and a ‘headbottom’. Perhaps it would be better if things went back to how they were…
An entertaining read about a young boy who is just trying to please everyone. It is a quirky exploration of parts of the human body and what they do for us. The message in this book is to be happy with who you are and appreciate what you have got. It is an enjoyable read with plenty of weird things happening as body parts find themselves where they’re not supposed to be. Young readers will no doubt delight in the funny illustrations and the whimsical narrative.
