My favourite naughty Nana is back and this time she is causing mischief at the town fair.
Jeanie and her friends are thrilled to go to the town fair and are looking forward to competing for best pet, best garden in a baking tray and best fancy dress outfit. Not everyone is playing fair at the fair though. Head judge, Mrs. Farquar-Haha, only has eyes for her granddaughter Georgina’s entries despite her mediocre efforts. But Bad Nana isn’t about to let her arch-nemesis ruin the day…
Sophy Henn has written another rib-tickling read about the misadventures of Jeanie and her badly behaving Nana. It is funny, it is silly and will delight young readers who will be teaching their own grandma’s a few of Bad Nana’s naughty ways. Bad Nana is awesome. Not only is she great fun but she stands up for her family members and makes sure that anyone who upsets those that are dear to her get their comeuppance.
Bad Nana is as fun and as bright as the dazzling neon pink artwork that fills the pages. Each page is a delight with its funny illustrations and text written in all manner of funky fonts. Henn presents characters of different ethnicities which is great to see.
